1929 - “Wedding Of The Painted Doll”
One of the more challenging pieces of music of the 100. I’m in a band called Michot’’s Melody Makers. Allegedly a Cajun band, MMM was quite capable of playing this multi part piece. Bryan Webre did the foundation bass and guitar, Kirkland Middleton on drums and me on weird guitar. Sarah Quintana added the “doll” vocals. We had been trying to get a decent version of this since we started the project. Peter sang it well, which isn’t easy. 2019

From the chord that rings out solemnly during the opening "One per Customer" through the hypnotic distortion of the finale "Black Hole," this is full of heart. Melodic, mature, and evocative. Joe de Larios
